Dr. Yaa Obirikorang

Dr. (Mrs.) Yaa Obirikorang is a Senior Lecturer at Garden City University in Ghana and serves as the Programme Lead for the Graduate Students Research Programme at the Africa Centre for Implementation Research and Training. She is an alumnus of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and the University of Ghana. Her research interests lie at the intersection of clinical pharmacology and chronic disease management, with particular emphasis on medication adherence, prescribing patterns, and the health-related quality of life of patients with diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic conditions. She is actively involved in mentoring and training the next generation of innovative researchers and leaders. Dr. Obirikorang has also published extensively in peer-reviewed journals.
